New Project Part 8

The siding and all the doors are on. I need to get the lights finished and the final inspection done but it is buttoned up for the winter which is good. So here are some more photo's for you to look at.

New Project Part 7

It's a lot closer to be finished for the winter. The siding should be finished this weekend. The rain gutters still need to be installed at some point. The last power and drywall inspection will take place in a week or so when ever I get so time to complete those items. After that last inspection takes place it will be great. Here are more pictures for you to look at.

The inspection went well so now it's time to move on.
Since the weather has held out for us I can get the siding and the sectional doors and the entry door on the building before the snow falls. Which is great, Now here are some more photo's for you to look at.

New Project Part 5

Now it's getting closer to being buttoned up for the winter. That happens to be the goal for now seems that I just spend more and more money on this thing every day. I need to get passed this next inspection for my 1 hour rated wall since it is to close to the property line. The city requested that because of the Building Codes. Now that the exterior wall is about finished I will move on to the interior wall. Then after the inspection then I can move at my own speed. Not on winters time. So now enjoy some more photo's.

New Project Part 4

Here are some more photo's for my detached garage. I now have the roof on and the rough in wiring is almost finished ran out of wire to finish but a pit stop to Home Depot will fix that. I will buy more wire and then call for an inspection on the wiring rough in. If it passes then I move on to the next step. That will be the exterior sheet rock on the west wall for my one hour rated wall that I need do to the fact that my garage is so close to the property line.

New Project Part 3

Here is some more photo's after the last inspection with the changes that the city asked me to make. Like making the west fascia only 4" from the face of the wall. Do to the fact that it is seating so close to the property line. I could fight it but it would've cost $2,000.00 for a new survey of the property. Maybe later for that. Now it's time to move on and get this project finished before it snows if possible.

New Project Part 2

Here is some more photo's. These are for the framing stage of the project and some of the more finished part also like the attic that I have added to the project. I mean why not spend a little more money in the beginning and gain more space in the end. It almost doubles your storage space and I think it will keep the garage part cleaner so that you will be able to move around your cars when they get parked in there.

New Project

The newest project. I started back in March,2008. This Detached Garage is 24' x 35' with Attic space above which is 14' x35' x7' of standing room. I hope to have it button up before the snow flies this winter. But I will have to wait to see what the building department has to say about that? I will add more images to this blog so that you will be able to see the progress on it and the finished project. I'm hoping to get the roof on next week we'll have see about that?
